HAFIZ MUTALLIM ALIMARDANOV
He graduated from the chemistry faculty of AUL in 1971. In the same year he entered the graduate school of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after YH Mammadaliyev, in 1975 he defended his PhD and in 1993 his doctoral dissertation. In 2005, he was awarded the title of Professor. The direction of HM Alimardanov's scientific activity is the synthesis of alicyclic unsaturated hydrocarbons and their various oxygen derivatives, development of scientific bases of production methods and processes, acquisition and wide application of new aromatic and refreshing substances based on various alicyclic ketones, glycols, ethers. The results of his scientific activity are reflected in 265 scientific works. HM Alimardanov has prepared 8 candidates of sciences and 3 doctors of sciences. He was elected a corresponding member of ANAS in 2014.
