KHALIL JAMAL NAGHIYEV
Khalil Naghiyev was born on 29 February 1972. In 1989, he entered Baku State University, Faculty of Chemistry, graduating with honors in 1994. The same year he embarked on postgraduate studies in analytical chemistry. In 1997, he defended a PhD thesis, obtaining a ScD degree in 2011. In 1998, he began his research and teaching activity at BSU, where he served as a teacher, associate professor and professor (since 2013) at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. His research interests lie in regularities in the emergence of ternary complexes. He has published 240 papers, and authored two textbooks, one methodological handbook and 14 study programs for chemistry students at higher schools. Khalil Naghiyev is the holder of four patents, and has supervised 13 master and one PhD student to completion. He is deputy chair of the scientific seminar of D 02.011 Thesis Council under BSU.
