AFAT TEYMUR HUSEYNOVA
Afat Huseynova was born on 8 February 1961. In 1978, she entered Baku State University, Faculty of Chemistry. She graduated in 1986, beginning her postgraduate studies at the Institute of the Chemistry of Admixtures, Academy of Sciences, in 1987. In 1991, she defended a PhD thesis, and achieved a ScD degree in 2012. From 1989-1994, Afat Huseynova served as a junior research fellow at the Institute of the Chemistry of Admixtures. In 1994-1995, she worked at the research laboratory of petrochemicals and its conversion in nature. She has served as a senior research fellow at Fine Organic Synthesis Research Laboratory under the Department of Organic Chemistry. She has published more than 70 papers, including one monograph. She is the holder of three authorship certificates and four patents.
