He graduated from Nakhchivan Pedagogical College in 1941. He took part in the Great Patriotic War in 1942-1944 and was awarded 12 medals and orders. He graduated from AUL in 1949, and in 1953 from Leningrad Technical University. In 1953-1955 he was a scientific secretary at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR, in 1955-1959 he was a senior researcher at the Institute of Organic Chemistry named after NDZelinski of the USSR Academy of Sciences, in 1959-1969 at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after YH Mammadaliyev worked. In 1973-1979 he was the head of the Nakhchivan regional scientific center of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR. In 1980, he was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the development of technology for the industrial use of carbon dioxide in Nakhchivan. As a result of large-scale research in the field of obtaining new types of synthetic lubricants, he developed the production of modern lubricants that meet military needs. Since 1969 he has been working at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after YH Mammadaliyev as the head of the laboratory of synthesis and technologies of synthetic oils. Acad. The results of MA Mammadyarov's scientific-research work are reflected in 3 monographs, more than 220 scientific articles and 40 inventions published in the republic and abroad. Under his leadership, 1 doctor of sciences and 13 candidates of sciences were trained. His services have been recognized with 12 government awards. In 1998, he was awarded the Y. Mammadaliyev Prize, and on October 13, 2014, he was awarded the Order of Honor.
