In 1944-1949 he studied at the Faculty of Chemistry of AUL. In 1953-1956 he studied at the graduate school. In 1956 he defended his dissertation on "Synthesis and research of sulfonate additives for motor tractors." In 1968, he defended his doctoral dissertation on "Research in the field of synthesis, technology development and industrial application of detergents and oxidation inhibitors for motor oils." In 1969 he was awarded the title of professor. Its main scientific direction is the synthesis, research, development of production technology, development of effective additive compositions and industrial application of highly effective additives to motor oils and lubricating coolants. Acad. KI Sadigov's scientific research works are reflected in 2 monographs, 350 scientific works, including more than 100 copyright certificates and patents. Under his leadership, 4 doctors of sciences and 30 candidates of sciences were trained. He was awarded the State Prize of the Azerbaijan SSR (1970), "Inventor of the USSR" (1978), "Order of Honor" (1987) and others. received awards. He is a scientific adviser to the director of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after academician AM Guliyev of ANAS.
