AKIF HAMID AZIZOV
In 1960 he was admitted to the Faculty of Chemistry of AUL, in 1964-1966 he continued his education at the Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov. In 1966, he began his career at the NKPI of ANAS, where he entered the graduate school. In the same year he was sent to Moscow to study at the Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1971 he was nominated for "Stereospecific polymerization of butadiene in the presence of p-allyl complexes of nickel and halogen quinones", in 1991 - "The role of ligands and weak metal-ligand bonds in oligomerization and polymerization processes in metal-organic catalysis". He defended his doctoral dissertation on "and" Petrochemistry ". In 1992 he was awarded the title of Professor of "Chemical Kinetics and Catalysis".
Prof. The results of research conducted by AH Azizov are reflected in about 200 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 30 copyright certificates and patents. Under his leadership, 7 candidates of sciences were prepared. In 1984 he was awarded the title of senior researcher, in 1992 - professor. In 2001 he was elected a corresponding member of ANAS, and in 2014 a full member. Since 2014, he has been the director of the Institute of Polymer Materials of ANAS.
