MAMMAD MIRZA MUVSUMZADE
In 1925 he was admitted to the nature department of the pedagogical faculty of AUL and graduated in 1930. He defended his dissertation in 1938 and was awarded the title of professor in 1947. In 1967 he was elected a corresponding member of ANAS. The main directions of scientific research conducted by MM Movsumzadeh are related to the synthesis of organic alpha oxides and their various transformations and the study of the obtained products. Prof. MM Movsumzadeh is the author of more than 250 scientific works on organic synthesis and scientific-methodical issues of organic chemistry. His 2-volume textbook "Organic Chemistry" has been published 3 times. Under his leadership, 2 doctors of chemical sciences and 20 candidates of sciences were trained.
