YUNIS HEYDAR GAMBAROV
In 1944 he was admitted to the faculty of chemistry of AUL. He graduated with honors in 1949. YH Gambarov defended his PhD in 1960 and his doctoral dissertation in 1968. In 1971 he was awarded the title of Professor. In 1980, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. His main research interests are the study of the conversion of natural hydrocarbons and their products by thermal and hydrogen at high temperatures and the creation of new highly efficient technological processes for the production of small molecule olefins and aromatic hydrocarbons. The results of his research are reflected in 6 monographs, 220 articles, including 40 inventions. Under his leadership, 1 doctor of sciences and 25 candidates of sciences were trained.
