ISA GULMAMMAD KARIMOV
He studied at the Faculty of Chemistry of AUL, studied at the graduate school of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov. He defended his PhD in 1954 and his doctoral dissertation in 1970 and received the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences. In 1980, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, majoring in chemical physics. Prof. IG Karimov's main research concerns the study of thermal and magnetic properties of semiconductors at low temperatures. The results of his research are reflected in monographs and more than 300 works. Under his leadership, 6 candidates of sciences were prepared.
